Mountbatten Tower
The tower is built on Mount Batten an 80ft tall outcrop of rock.
The tower is from 1646/52 , the armament was installed on the roof.
Built to protect the Cattewater anchorages from a threat from the Dutch.

A memorial in front , a seaplane prop , dedicated to the airmen who served at Mount Batten.
