The Gravestone of Sir John Betjeman at St Enodoc Church , near the Lychgate.
A finely inscribed memorial with Gothic Script and entwined fauna and flora , carved by Simon Verity .
John Betjeman was born on August 28th, 1906, near Highgate, London.
Died on May 19th 1984, at his home Treen , Daymer Lane , Trebetherick (bought in 1959)
