Salcombe Hill Cliff (Triassic Mercia Mudstone)
The top of the Cliff is Upper Greensand which has eroded back.
East of the River Sid at Sidmouth is the junction of the Otter Sandstone and the predominately Mercia Mudstones Triassic cliffs of about 220 MYA.
