South Ship Channel
From near the previous photo a view to the Breakwaters protecting Portland Harbour.
The Ship Channel is between the Inner and Outer Breakwater.
The derelict Portland Breakwater Fort (1868 /75) is on the end of the Outer Breakwater.
The rusty ship in the photo is TV Tristram (1966), formerly RFA Sir Tristram (L3505), a static training vessel , her permanent home since 2007.
