Rounded Concretions (Doggers) - Osmington Mills (S43)

In the Cliff a short distance to the east of Osmington Mills are several Huge Calcite - Cemented Nodules with cross-bedding.
This area has been subject to a recent landslip.
Calcerous Cementation of sands has formed these rounded Nodules
Some are more than 6ft (1.8m) in diameter. The nodules weather to form prominant features on the beach.
Worm Tubes (Serpula) in the rocks around the Nodules
