Nodding Donkey
BP's Kimmeridge No.1 Oil Well , in operation from 1961 , produces some 60 barrels a day .
Oil is extracted by Beam Pump / “Nodding Donkey” from a depth of about 520m and then transported by road to Wytch Farm near Corfe Castle .
