Littleham - Radioactive Nodules

In the Cliffs at this location is a fine group of Radioactive Vanadium - Uranium Nodules (radiation is about 10 times normal background level)
The Littleham Mudstones Formation is famous for the radioactive nodules or concretions that occur in large pale green
or cream-coloured reduction spots within the red beds.
Some of the Sandstone beds in this area have a green colour.
