Looking over one of the Lower Tors towards Sourton Church
Sourton Tors has a number of rocky outcrops , split into two ridges.
The Lower ridge is formed of porphyritic dolerite with feldspar crystals .
The rocks have formed along the edge of the massive Granite Dartmoor upland
