A view from the South of King's Tor , of 12 partially finished Granite Corbels (1902) lying by the side of the track
of the railway branch line which served Swelltor Quarry.
These Corbels never made it to London where they would have been
placed on the sides of London Bridge and project out over the Thames to carry an extended pavement .
Rotting wooden sleepers can be seen in the bed of the old railway track.
Swelltor Quarry has taken a massive bite out of Swell Tor.
Spoil tips from the Quarry in the distance.
