King's Tor
A view of the south west aspect of King'sTor and the clitter strewn slope from an old Railway Track.
The Plymouth and Dartmoor Railway , a Horse Drawn Railway from 1823 ,
ran from King's Tor to Crabtree ,
some 25 miles , using an unusual 4ft 6ins 'Dartmoor Gauge' .
Later extended to Sutton Pool (Plymouth) and Princetown .
