The Standing Stone to the East of the Merrivale Complex.
The Four Winds Car Park , on the B3357 ,surrounded by trees in the
distance .
The initials 'T' and 'A' have been cut in this stone ,erected in the 17C,
on the Packhorse track between Ashburton and Tavistock.
A path to the south leads to King's Tor and the old Railway Line which runs
around the Tor .
The railway was built mainly to serve the Quarries operating in this area.
