Permian Breccia - Dawlish Railway (S38)
Gently dipping beds of Permian Age Breccia in the cliffs behind the Dawlish Railway Line
The Breccia was deposited in flash floods.
The Sandstones were formed from sand dunes - ( Aeolian or Wind deposited )
The Hottentot Fig is covering large areas of the cliffs.
