Raised Beach Platform - Wembury (S32)
The Church at Wembury gives a fine view over the Extensive Coastal Platform.
The Raised Beach Platform is covered by stony Orange coloured Head Deposits .
Head was layed down during the periglacial period by the downward sliding of erosion material , normally
as a result of repeated freezing and thawing .
