West Cornwall - Geology
Lode - Cape Cornwall (S17)
The mineralised fault - Saveall's Lode - appears in the cliffs , between the metasedimentary rock and the granite.
The Lode also appears on the foreshore , the exposed rocks have a stong rusty colour from the
Iron Mineral Limonite ( mixed hydrated iron hydroxide minerals).
