On the south side of Crackington Haven.
Flute casts on the sole of an upturned bed of Carboniferous Sandstone.
The bed are traversed by veins of quartz.
These features form during soft-sediment deformation shortly after sediment burial,
when overlying sediment settles into less dense, water-saturated sediment below.
The Upper Carboniferous Crackington Formation are a sequence of shales with thin turbidite sandstones.
