Cornwall - Prehistoric Monuments
The 20m long curved passage has corbelled walls roofed with 13 large capstones.
Fogous are structures excavated into the subsoil / rock , usually a long passage sometimes with a
chamber and side passages , and then lined and roofed with slabs of stone.
The purpose of these mysterious structures is subject to debate.
