Hornblende Schist - Balk Quarry (S23)
An old Quarry (bastite-serpentinite ) just to the north of Church Cove.
At the entrance to the Quarry a fault can be seen .
Hornblende Schist is below the well defined fault and Bastite Serpentinite above.

Church Cove is to the East of Lizard Village.
Small Car Park near the Church
A short track off the Coast Path , through the scrub , leads to the Quarry .
