South Cornwall - Geology
Red Devonian Rocks - Blarrick Cliff (S31)
Strong red coloured Lower Devonian slates (408-386 myo) in the Cliffs to the West of the path to the beach.
The rocks are from the Meadfoot Beds - layed down under marine conditions.
The path passes through the grounds of Tregantle Fort and is closed when the Firing Range is in use!!
