The Gannel Estuary
A View ,from the road just passed the 'Fern Pit Cafe' ,over The Gannel Estuary .
The road continues on to The Gannel Footbridge (just visible).
The Fern Pit Cafe allows access to a Private Tidal Foot Bridge and a Ferry which operates
either side of a high tide in the Summer.
The recommended route across The Gannel is by The Tidal 'Gannel Footbridge'.
Another Tidal Bridge is further to the East near the A392 / A3058 Roundabout.
The Tidal Foot Bridges are only exposed for a period each side of low tide.
