Carleon Cove - 1
A stream flows through a wooded valley , of mainly Elm trees , to the shingle and stone beach.
The shingle contains Pink Granite, Banded Gneiss, Red and Green Serpentine .
When the works was operating Serpentine Goods were ferried from the cove in flat bottomed barges
to schooners waiting in the bay.
