Wheal Hermon (S12)
The Slot-like cuttings in the Nanven cliff face are the remains of Wheal Hermon Tin Mine
Wheal Hermon is one of the oldest recorded mines in the St Just Mining District.
The lodes also outcrop on the Nanven foreshore.
Numerous mines operated in this area including Wheal Bellan, Letcha , Oak....
Nanven beach is to the south of Porth Nanven .
