Dartmouth Group Coloured Slates - Watergate Beach (S12)
These 'Dartmouth Group' Slates can be seen in the Cliffs near Zacry's Islands
The Oldest Devonian Rocks in Cornwall , the Lower Devonian Dartmouth Group Rocks ,
are exposed in the cliffs between the Watergate Beach Access Point and Whipsiderry Beach .
The Same purple , green and grey rocks appear on the South East Cornwall Coast at Lantivet Bay , Talland Bay , Polperro .....
