The Coast Path / Tarka Trail follows the steep Martinhoe Cliffs .
This rocky viewpoint gives a view along the Coast towards The Foreland
with red-stained cliffs from the Hangman Sandstone formation -
Old Red sandstones of Devonian age(400myo) - one of two exposures in North Devon.
