The Gore
From Bucks Mill views to the west over 'The Gore' to the Cliffs around Clovelly.
Legend has the Devil building 'The Gore' as a causeway to Lundy.
The spit of pebbles and boulders is likely to be the remains of a substantial landslide ,
eroded into its distinctive shape by tides and currents .
The remains of a Stone Quay built 1598 , destroyed by the winter storms are just to the east of the Gore.
