Recumbent Fold - Crackington Haven (S8)
At the base of the cliff at Pencannow Point on the north side of Crackington Haven.
Bands of pale sandstones and grey shales have been deformed to form isoclinal recumbent folds
at the end of the Carboniferous Period during the Variscan Orogeny.
