Unconformity - Kingsand (S31)

Further to the east of the Sandways Beach huts is an area of Permian Conglomerate Rock ( 290 MYO )
of cemented pebbles and cobbles - exposed under the Rhyolite Lava flow.
These deposits rest unconformably on the Red Devonian Sandstones ( 390 MYO ) , seen further to the east ,
leaving a 100 Million Year gap in the geological record.
