Marble Cliff - 1 (S11)

Numerous Bands of dark grey argillite and white limestone layers up to lm thick occur in this north facing cliff.
Limestone is very rare in Cornwall.
The Strata occurs in the overturned limb of a major north facing recumbent fold ,
resulting in the lowest Strata being the youngest .
