Purple / Green Slates - Butter Hole (S11)
Impressive purple and green slates from the Upper Devonian Period add a splash of colour to the cliffs
and the rocky outcrops in the cove.
The Purple Slates have formed in the presence of Ferric Iron .The Green Slates by Ferrous Iron.
