In the middle of the path is this view of Whitlands Cliff , towering over a section of the Undercliff formed by landslides in 1765 and 1840 .
This is one of the very few views that appear of the Cliffs above the Path .
Views to the Sea are just as rare.
Just before this view is a Chimney Stack , the remains of a Pumping Station which used to pump spring water
to the Rousdon Mansion / Allhallows (School) above.
Also nearby is a Private Footpath (Rousdon Estate Beach Path) down to Charton Beach !
