A view from the harbour wall at The Cobb over Monmouth Beach to Ware Cliffs .
Blue Lias and Mudstone Cliffs capped with Upper Greensand and some Chalk , Clay with Flints.
Monmouth Beach is increasing in size as the natural travel of pebbles (longshore drift) is obstructed by the Cobb .
