St Christopher Medallion Sculpture
Breakwater Hill leads to Cattedown road with a large sculpture of a St Christopher Medallion , the patron saint of travellers.
Breakwater Hill was extensively quarried to provide stone for the Plymouth Breakwater.
St. Christopher is carrying the Christ Child on his shoulders across turbulent waters.
The Cattedown Approach Light with distinctive red and white banding is opposite this sculpture .
