Pulpit Rock
The stack was created in the 1870’s when a natural arch of rock was cut away by workmen from the Bill Quarry.
The rock was given its name as the structure represents a bible leaning on a pulpit.
Steps have been cut in the sloping slab of rock to access the top of the rock !
