Clavell Tower
An Observatory and Folly built by the Rev. John Clavell of Smedmore Estate in 1831.
By 2002 the four storey circular tower ,which had stood empty and derelict since the Great War ,
was very close to the edge of the crumbling Hen Cliff.
The tower was dismantled and re-erected (2008) further back from the cliff edge.
