Pulpit Rock
Pulpit Rock is the last remnant of a natural rock arch
The rock consists of Chert Beds on the bottom , then Portland building stone overlain by Purbeck Cap beds.
Most of the building stone has been removed leaving a fine rock platform.
Foot and hand holds have been cut into the massive block leaning against the Pulpit Rock.
