Burton Cliff - 3
The western end of Burton Cliff from the platform below the shingle beach.
The striking Cliffs are composed of Bridport Sands capped by rubbly Inferior Oolite Limestone and fullers earth clay.
The sands are interbedded with bands of hard calcareous sandstone which weather as projecting cornices .
