To the east of West Bay is the impressive East Cliff
The striking Cliffs are composed of Bridport Sands (Jurassic - 175 MYO)
The sands are interbedded with bands of hard calcareous sandstone .
The area has gained fame as the setting for the TV drama 'Broadchurch' .
