The Coast Path from Lyme Regis to Charmouth has been diverted inland due to Landslips , a major event occured at The Spittles in 2008.
To avoid taking the route along Roads it is possible on a Low Tide to walk along the Beach , keeping clear of the base of the Cliffs and any soft mud and sand.
