A Bronze Age Burial Chamber lies close to the northern bank of Langcombe Brook in a remote part of the South Moor.
A ring cairn of 9 or 10 upright slabs , most leaning outwards , with a cist (missing its cover-stones) at its centre.
The Cist would have been covered with earth / stones with the kerbstones marking the outer edge of the mound.
It’s name, like that of Grimspound, is derived from the name Grim or the Devil.

cross river plym / follow langcombe brook to the monument.
