Parliament Rock - Crockern Tor
The speaker at the Stanners Parliament climbed up the steps of granite to
address the assembled tinners.
Crockern Tor was the open-air meeting place where the tinners
representatives met , from the early 1300's to 1703.
It dealt with matters such as hearing petitions , registering tinworks and
mills, setting Stannary Law and imposing penalties on those guilty of
breaking the Stannary Laws.
