
The Coast Path follows this road ( which leads into Coddow Combe and down to the Lighthouse and NT Bothy)
then climbs up another valley .
Coddow Combe is a dry valley truncated by cliffs at its seaward end.
The three hills around the Combe have a different character: one is scree-clad, another bare heathland
the third covered in scrubby thorn and gorse.
