
The Shingle Beach has been breached allowing fields behind to be flooded on a high tide ,
creating a unique marshland ecosystem which attracts numerous rare species of birds and insects.
The beach is owned by the National Trust - part of the Holnicote Estate.
The Coast Path drops down to Bossington and follows fields to Porlock Weir.
The path may flooded in places on a very high tide.
