Grey Wethers Stone Circle

This magnificent double Stone Circle , formed from substantial stones ,
is located at the foot of Sittaford Tor on a bridge of land
between a pair of valleys . Restored in 1909.
Standing 4.5 m. apart, the Northern Circle consists of 20 stones (about 1.1m high)
forming a circle of about 32m. diameter.
The Southern Circle has 29 stones (up to 1.4m. high) forming a circle of about 33 m. diameter

Location - South West of Fernworthy Forest
Route - As Fernworthy Stone Circle but continue along the bridleway to open moor land .
Follow a bridleway to the south , through a gate in a wall - the circle is nearby.
