The Southermost stone in the row which stretches for over 500 metres in a north south direction,
mostly up the southern slopes of Stalldown Barrow hill.
Its northerly end is just over the top of hill.
The row was restored in 1897 by Baring-Gould and the Dartmoor Exploration Committee.
It consists of over 80 stones, about 62 remain standing , about 17 have fallen, with some being buried or missing.
