The tor is the highest free-standing rock on Dartmoor.
Bronze Age Cairn and Cist near the Tor.
From some angles it is said to resemble the Sphinx or a Vixen.
There does not appear to be any public access to this tor !( a planning decision was made Sept 2011 ).
The Field boundary around the Tor has impressive stone banks ,
A good view can be found without trespassing !
