Seawall
The Coast from near the Teignmouth Pier (Grand Pier ).
Hard engineering of the seafront is a feature of this part of the Coast.
The Teignmouth Promenade leads to the Limestone Seawall that protects the Railway .
The Coast Path runs on top of the Seawall for about 1 mile , as far as the Smugglers Lane Viaduct
which allows the Coast Path to pass under the Rail Line.

The Tunnel under the Viaduct can be impassable at High Tide !!!
