Natural Arch - London Bridge (S37)
A view of London Bridge from the Haldon Pier of Torquay Harbour.
A Natural Arch in the middle Devonian Limestone.
The seaward Limestone is thick bedded and dips steeply .
The top of the Arch is thin bedded limestone .
The thinner beds of less resistant limestone have been eroded by the sea and formed this fine Arch.
