A view over Devil's Point (the Devonian limestone is stained Red here ) to Long Quarry Point ,
the northern headland of Anstey's Cove (Redgate Beach).
Grey and Pink Middle Devonian Limestone was quarried here in Victorian times to provide
building stone for the growing town of Torquay.
The distinctive profile of the headland is the result of stone pillars left by the quarrymen.
