A view towards Bovisand Beach.
This area was an old valley which has been filled up by solifluction of Head deposits.
Head was layed down during the periglacial period, ( Climate conditions found near the margins of an ice cap) ,
by the downward sliding of erosion material , normally as a result of repeated freezing and thawing .
Head deposits in the cliff are gradually eroding.
A Stack of Head is sitting on the beds of slate.
