The Red Cliffs of Roundham Head , at the northern end Goodrington Sands.
Rockfalls make access difficult if not impossible.
Roundham head shows Tor Bay Breccia of early Permian age, consisting of fragments of limestone, quartzite
and some igneous rocks in a sandy matrix .
Cross bedded Sandstone beds ( layers at an angle to the main bedding plane ) occur in the breccia sequence.
