Gallery 34 / Bigbury - on - Sea to Salcombe
West Soar is a rare survivor from a chain of 25 Signal Stations built along the Coast when England was at war with France.
Built in 1794 , the main observation window can be seen , with smaller slots in the roof to enable the stations
at Prawle Point to the east and Scobbiscombe to the north west to be seen.
